Gorse Covert is also next door to Risley Nature Reserve and is part of the Woodland Trust, which helps to develop our children’s geography skills. Where possible we have linked our history and geography units to enable the children to see how the two subjects are often entwined. The substantive concepts we teach in geography have some links with those in history.
